This is an appeal from an action brought by the Attorney General of Texas to prevent abuse of a charitable trust, pursuant to Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat. Ann. art. 4412(a) (Vernon 1986). The trial court entered judgment declaring a 1984 deed, purportedly conveying property of a charitable corporation to a private estate, void ab initio and awarded title and possession of the property and certain personalty to a newly constituted charitable organization, impressed with a public charitable trust in perpetuity under the cy pres doctrine.
